What Minerals Are in Shilajit?
Direct answer: Shilajit is a complex natural material whose mineral composition can vary by source and preparation. A broad “80 minerals” claim, or a claim that those minerals are uniquely absorbed, is not a useful way to judge a finished product.

Why mineral claims need context
Many minerals have recognised roles in the body, but that does not show that a particular Shilajit product provides a meaningful amount of each mineral or produces a specific health effect. Claims about mineral content need product-specific measurements, not a generic list copied from another material or preparation.
Fulvic acid is one measurable component of Shilajit. It should not be described as a proven delivery system that transports minerals into cells or makes a finished product more bioavailable than other supplements.
What to look for instead
- A complete ingredient list for the exact product.
- The labelled serving and directions.
- A named laboratory report showing which sample and analytes were measured.
- Clear limits on what that report can establish.
Laboratory reports and mineral-related questions
Eurofins tested the current 5 Rivers Nutrition Gold+ Capsules batch ULSG2508357 and Resin batch ULSG2508011. These are the same batches currently used in products sold by 5 Rivers Nutrition. The Capsules report (AR-258-2025-20051564-01) records 79.22 g/100 g fulvic acid; the Resin report (AR-258-2025-20051565-01) records 76.74 g/100 g. Both reports list arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury. These are analytical results, not evidence of a health outcome. See the Lab Testing page for the full batch reports.
The Gold+ Capsules label separately lists 20 mg of added zinc per two-capsule serving. That is zinc in a multi-ingredient formula; it should not be described as a measured amount of naturally occurring Shilajit mineral content. The published report lists its specified measurements; it is not a comprehensive mineral-profile analysis.

Gold+ formats
Gold+ Capsules contain 11 disclosed active ingredients, plus a vegetable-cellulose capsule shell. The labelled two-capsule daily serving provides 400 mg of Shilajit extract in total.
Gold+ Resin is a separate six-ingredient formula. Its labelled 500 mg serving is the complete formula and includes 300 mg of Shilajit extract.
For the complete differences, see Capsules versus Resin. The Bundle contains both formats for comparing separately, not for combining full daily servings.
Does Shilajit contain iron or zinc?
The mineral profile of Shilajit varies, and the reports linked here are not a complete nutrient-mineral panel. They cannot confirm a nutritional amount of naturally occurring iron or zinc in Shilajit itself. Gold+ Capsules separately list 20 mg of added zinc per labelled two-capsule serving; this is a declared formula ingredient, not a measurement of zinc naturally present in Shilajit. Check the exact product label and report scope rather than relying on a generic mineral list.
Key takeaway
Use a clear label and product-specific laboratory context to make an informed choice. Do not rely on generic mineral lists, unverified absorption claims or the idea that natural origin proves quality or suitability.
