How to Store Shilajit Properly to Maintain Quality

In short: Store Shilajit according to its label, in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight. Keep the container closed, use clean and dry utensils for Resin, and do not use a product if the packaging is damaged or it appears unsuitable.

Storing Gold+ Resin

Keep the 20 g Resin jar sealed between uses. Use a clean, dry utensil when measuring the labelled 500 mg serving. The Resin has a sticky, semi-solid texture and can soften with gentle warmth; do not add water to the jar or leave it open unnecessarily.

At the labelled serving, one 20 g jar provides approximately 40 servings. The 500 mg serving is the complete Resin formula, including 300 mg of Shilajit extract.

Expiry date and batch information

Check the date printed on your own container and follow that label. Current Gold+ Resin product information says to store the jar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, keep it tightly closed, and use it within 24 months of manufacture for best quality. That statement applies to the Resin information checked on 18 October 2026; it is not a date to apply to every jar or to the separate Capsules format. Check the Capsules label separately.

A published batch date is specific to that stock and does not establish an expiry date for a different batch.

Storing Gold+ Capsules

Keep Capsules in their closed container in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing them in a damp bathroom or beside a heat source. The labelled daily serving is two capsules, providing 400 mg of Shilajit extract in total. One pack contains 60 capsules, or approximately 30 labelled daily servings.

When not to use a product

Do not use a product if the packaging is visibly damaged, the product is past its stated date, or you have a reason to think it may not be suitable. If you have questions about an individual ingredient, medication or medical condition, speak to a pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional.

What lab reports can and cannot tell you

Eurofins tested the current 5 Rivers Nutrition Gold+ Capsules batch ULSG2508357 and Resin batch ULSG2508011. These are the same batches currently used in products sold by 5 Rivers Nutrition. The Capsules report (AR-258-2025-20051564-01) records 79.22 g/100 g fulvic acid; the Resin report (AR-258-2025-20051565-01) records 76.74 g/100 g.
